I still remember touring Auburn University for the first time, filled with hope for the opportunities available at college. My Student Recruiter made that experience one I’ll never forget and inspired my love for sharing Auburn with prospective students and their families.

Now, as an Auburn Student Recruiter, I have the privilege of being part of a team of approximately 100 students who welcome prospective students and their families to campus and help them envision what their future at Auburn could look like. When I first interviewed for this position, I was passionate about making a difference in the lives of those considering Auburn. But now, I’ve found that this role means so much more than giving tours and sharing what I know about Auburn. I get to work alongside a team of students who inspire me daily to become a better Auburn woman, and I leave each tour grateful that I had the opportunity to meet families willing to hear about what Auburn has to offer.

It’s such a gift to give others a glimpse of the place that has shaped me while learning from the stories, hopes, and excitement they bring with them.
